The School of Philosophy wishes to share that the ANU team that participated in the fourth AAPAE Tertiary Ethics Olympiad was awarded the Gold Medal in the competition; the teams from the University of Melbourne and Monash received the Silver and Bronze Medals.

The ANU team -Felix Archibald, Charlotte Carnes, Holly Wallman-Craddock, Charles Durkin, and William Smith- was led by PhD student Henry Phillips.

The event was held on 9 October 2025, providing a unique opportunity to develop skills in critical thinking, collaboration and communication. The teams are presented a series of three to four ethical case studies to debate and present for which they are scored based on clear, concise, critical, and collaborative thinking. Congratulations!
